Itinerary details

Day 1: Arrival & Introduction

• Arrival in Kigali, airport transfer, and hotel check-in.

Day 2: Market Visit & Agribusiness Hub (Kigali)

• Visit of the Center of Excellence for Horticultural Development at Murindi learning about
initiatives supporting small-scale farmers and entrepreneurs.Interact with agribusiness
experts and discuss the challenges and opportunities in Rwanda’s agricultural sector.
• Explore Kigali’s bustling Nyabugogo market, experiencing the vibrant trade of agricultural
products

Day 3: Rural Community & Sustainable Farming (Musanze)

• Travel to Sina Gerard and Entreprise Urwibutso for a tour showcasing sustainable agricultural
practices and improved crop yields. Interact with local farmers, learning about their
experiences and challenges in the agricultural sector. Participate in a hands-on activity like
planting crops or preparing local dishes using fresh produce.

Day 4: Coffee Processing & Cooperative Visit (Huye)

• Scenic drive to Huye, a major coffee-growing region.
• Visit the Nyanza King’s Palace, a historical landmark showcasing Rwanda’s past monarchy.
• Visit to Maraba, a coffee washing station, witnessing the processing stages from cherry to
